Established in the 1800s, Smyth's is a handsome pub with its own distinctive brand of style and charm. It has an American feel to it and a menu to match. The warmly welcoming staff and locals make you feel quickly at home. This is a firm favourite and a marvellously atmospheric spot for young and old alike. The spacious bar has a great collection of memorabilia, comfortable booth seating, Tiffany-style lamp shades, grocery style shelving and the whole atmosphere is one of relaxation. Always a good mixture of customers and a great buzz about the place. The tasty no nonsense menu offers good value for money and has a wide choice of attractive, well-presented food. Try the BBQ ribs, or the goujon combo. Courteous, hardworking staff add to this good all-round, well-kept bar.
