Sea safari is a unique and unforgettable experience, fast becoming one of Dublin's primary tourism attractions. Our safaris combine the pure excitement and adventure with the opportunity of discovering Ireland's rich bird and sealife. You will taken on one of our specially designed ribs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) around Dublin bay and the surrounding coastal areas. Suitable for all ages (8+ yrs) and groups particularly family day outs, Dublin tourism or simply entertaining corporate clients.

The sea safari will take you on a high speed, adrenalin packed tour in one of our large ribs. The trip combines high speed thrills while also taking in the rich bird / wildlife as well as the local history, culture and heritage around the Dublin bay area and its environs.

The itinerary is subject to weather and customer demand but regularly visited sites include: Rockabill Lighthouse - Skerries Islands - Lambay Island - Irelands Eye - Howth - Bailey Lighthouse - Dublin Bay - Liffey basin - Picturesque Malahide - Dalkey Island - Killiney Bay.

Forget the weather; we operate safely year round in almost all weather conditions. We kit you out so that you remain dry and safe throughout your trip even when it's raining. In fact it's even more fun when the wind blows as the waves are larger. You can join our team daily throughout the year at Malahide Marina and Dublin City Moorings (IFSC). Go on live it!

We put your comfort and safety first. Licensed by the dept of the Marine, our highly experienced team operate several all weather RIBS which meet the highest international technical and safety specifications. All ribs are fully equipped with the latest electronics, navigation and safety equipment including life rafts. You sit in the rib in a dedicated seat. We kit you out with 2- piece splash proof suits and life jackets so that you remain completely warm, dry and safe throughout the safari.

Q:Is Sea Safari licensed to operate?
A:Sea Safari vessels are licensed to operate in waters from Skerries to Greystones inclusive and not more than 1 mile offshore.

Q:Is it suitable for children?
A:We would say children under 8yrs would not be suitable. In any event children between the ages of 8 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Q:Are passengers insured?
A:We carry full Third Party Liability Insurance on each vessel.

Q:What type of clothing should be worn?
A:Essentially it is a lot colder at sea than on land. Layers of clothes should be worn as opposed to one or two thick layers. It is also advisable to wear headgear and we would ask that our passengers would wear flat-heeled shoes. Sea Safari will provide you with high waist trousers and all-weather jackets together with of course the all important mandatory life-jackets!!

Q:So what's different about the experience?
A:Sea Safari is a thrilling dublin based experience. We are one of the few licensed sea tour operator in the Dublin Bay area. Seeing the landscape from the water with its wildlife and sea-life when feeling the rush and freshness of the sea is an exhilarating experience for both passengers and crew.

Q:Does it operate in all weathers?
A:Our RIB boats can handle most sea conditions. However in the interest of safety and if the sea is particularly rough, we may decide to postpone a safari. If you are unsure please telephone in advance.

Q:Under what circumstances should I not avail of Sea Safari?
A:If you are pregnant or if you suffer from any back ailment it is advisable not to avail of our safaris.
